winter green {no. 28}

Winters in Oregon are cold and wet and lush.  The trees are like giant mythical beings decked out in velvety green suits of the finest moss, their sinewy arms arching overhead as if waiting to pluck unsuspecting hikers off the trail and into some crazy fairy tale...

 This trail is on my way home from work. One of these days I'm going to take the time to explore it, but today is Friday, and my comfy chair and lap cats were calling. (And those trees kinda gave me the willies!)
